Day 2: Mestia - Koruldi Lakes – Mestia
Today is a good warm-up day. We will descend 1,700 vertical meters on a singletrack! We begin the ride from the beautiful mountain town of Mestia with 4x4 vehicles. They will take us to the Koruldi Lakes at 2,850m above sea level. We'll even ride a bit higher on a singletrack. From this spot, you can see the entire Svaneti region and many of the highest peaks in Europe. From here, we start our descent toward Mestia.

  • Min elevation: 1,450 m
  • Total Descent: 1,600 m
  • Total Ascent: 700 m

Day 3: Tetnuldi – Ushguli
Transfer by car to the Tetnuldi ski resort. Tetnuldi is one of the highest peaks in Europe, at 4,854m. This beautiful mountain will be our view regularly throughout the day. We start by traversing and descending on a singletrack to the village of Adishi. This village is built on a steep slope near the Adishi Glacier. We will visit an old church with a beautiful painting of St. George on its exterior. The village is full of Svanetian towers, mostly from the 14th century. Transfer by car to Ushguli.

  • Min elevation: 1,600 m
  • Total Descent: 1,200 m
  • Total Ascent: 800 m

Day 4: Ushguli - Tsageri
Ushguli is the second highest inhabited place in Europe and is located right at the foot of Georgia's highest mountain, Shkhara 5,190m. We will explore this dreamy village and then head to the enormous pass that reaches 2,830m. Ascending this pass is optional; we can decide how much of it we will bike up, as it has many steep sections. Once we reach the top, there are many vertical meters of descent until we reach the Tskhenistkali River valley. We finish with a transfer to Tsageri.

  • Distance: 45-70 km
  • Max elevation: 2,830 m
  • Min elevation: 1,200 m
  • Total Descent: 1,600 m
  • Total Ascent: 1,200 m
    Accommodation - Tsageri

Day 5: Tsageri - Oni
This day is more relaxed, as we are already in a different region called Lechkhumi, which is famous for its wine. We will go wine tasting in one of the family guesthouse wine cellars and then continue our not-so-challenging cross-country route to the village of Ghvirishi. The scenery changes at every turn, and at one of the turns, we will come across a viewpoint and a waterfall. After this, we descend to the village of Alpana and then transfer to another region called Racha.

  • Distance: 20 km
  • Max elevation: 1,100 m
  • Min elevation: 350 m
  • Total Descent: 1,100 m
  • Total Ascent: 900 m
    Accommodation - Oni

Day 6: Oni – Ambrolauri
Transfer to the village of Shkmeri. We begin with the ascent of Mt. Khikhata via a singletrack. Later, the road becomes an on-and-off doubletrack. From the top, we will have a 360-degree view, with the Great Caucasus mountains to the north and Imereti's beautiful landscape to the south. After enjoying the views, we continue and descend to Racha's largest town, Ambrolauri.

  • Distance: 40 km
  • Max elevation: 2,250 m
  • Min elevation: 1,858 m
  • Total Descent: 900 m
  • Total Ascent: 800 m
    Accommodation - Ambrolauri

Day 7: Ambrolauri - Kutaisi
On this day, we start biking in a very beautiful and famous pine forest. This is the forest from which Europe gets its Christmas tree seeds. And trust us, there's a reason why they chose this particular forest. The mountain's top ends with sub-alpine fields. After we reach the top and enjoy another fascinating 360-degree view, we will start descending in the direction of Imereti. Afterward, we leave the forests and end our descent in a remote village. Transfer to Kutaisi.

  • Distance: 50 km
  • Max elevation: 1,966 m
  • Min elevation: 600 m
  • Total Descent: 1,200 m
  • Total Ascent: 900 m
