This tour is aimed at people with an intermediate skill level and above. You can brake precisely on downhill sections and uphold a stable and confident posture while managing controlled ascents and descents. Although you favour a deliberate and controlled speed, you demonstrate assurance in tackling various technical obstacles, including roots, rocks, and tight turns.
As most of the climbs are shuttle-assisted, an average to good physical condition is required.
The ideal mountain bike you bring for this trip is a Trail-Enduro bike with suspension travel ranging from around 140mm to 180mm. The bike has to be in good condition with perfectly working brakes. We will be in remote terrain so please bring a spare derailleur hanger and chainlinks.
Modern Enduro bikes can be rented with a local partner for €250-300 for the trip. To be confirmed when booking.
