Karakol ski resort, an overview

Beginners and experienced skiers will both find their challenging runs. There are plenty of blues, reds and blacks. From the upper Panorama lift is an off piste trail that goes back to the main resort. There are many options for freeriding and deep snow runs. Freeriders among us: the area has masses of offpiste potential. There’s even a small funpark

Lazy freeriders can book a ride by snow mobile to get to an altitude of almost 3500 meters. The price is usually 2000 KGS per ride. There is a very long run that goes from the top

The snow is abundant and of exceptional quality due to its proximity to Lake Issyk Kul (which provides a microclimate) On snowy days you are skiing in dry Champagne powder. On sunny days you will have extensive views across Lake Issyk Kul. You will never get bored.

During school vacations and weekends it can be quite busy. During the week sometimes you seem to have the resort all to yourself. The resort is easily accessible by ski bus or taxi. If you have your own transportation, be sure to drive a 4×4. The road is quite bumpy.
