Empowering Local Guides and Riders
Silk Road Freeride is a community project focused on developing freeride culture in developing mountain regions.
With freeriding becoming a new Olympic discipline, we aim to create opportunities for local riders by providing access to training, equipment and knowledge that are often unavailable in these regions.
Through coaching programs, knowledge sharing and equipment support, we help riders and guides improve their skills, increase safety awareness and build a strong local freeride community.
The highlight of the project is organizing freeride competitions and Freeride World Tour Qualifiers, giving local athletes the opportunity to compete internationally and inspiring the next generation of freeriders.

A key component of the Silk Road Freeride project is fostering a strong local freeride community. We believe in inclusivity and mentorship, creating
opportunities for less experienced riders to learn alongside seasoned professionals.
By organizing workshops and training sessions, we help local athletes improve their skills in a supportive environment. This collaborative approach not only enhances individual abilities but also strengthens the community as a whole.
What We Do
TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS
We organize training in avalanche safety, guiding techniques, and environmental stewardship so local riders and guides are prepared for both the sport and leading others.
PROMOTING INTERNATIONAL TOURISM
We attract international riders to emerging Silk Road destinations, creating cultural exchange and economic opportunity from the Balkans to Central Asia and China.
SUSTAINABLE TOURISM
We are building a tourism model that respects the environment and ensures that economic benefits flow back into local communities.

We sponsor promising local riders and provide them with the training, equipment, and exposure needed to perform at an international level. From the Silk Road to the world stage.
