Second life for Lowlands camping equipment
After Lowlands ends, many campers leave their gear behind. Apparently, most festival-goers have something else on their minds other than bringing their camping equipment with them. Bosse and Bart were allowed onto the Lowland property to collect gear for Ryce Travel.
The ultimate haul is 12 high-quality tents, 16 camping chairs, ten air mattresses, five tables and some sleeping mats. We relocated this material to Kyrgyzstan for next summer to furnish a new base camp. We thank the anonymous visitors, Bosse, Bart and, of course, the Lowlands organisation, for allowing us onto the festival grounds. The material was saved from a landfill and is, fortunately, getting a second life in Central Asia.
