On Albania’s eastern border stands Mount Korab, towering at 2,764 meters. This giant, shared with North Macedonia, is a dream for experienced ski tourers. Long, continuous descents, technical lines, and breathtaking views over the Balkan mountains make every run unforgettable. In winter, this area is still largely unexplored – meaning fresh tracks in untouched powder are almost guaranteed.

For those who want a little more speed (and a bit less climbing), there’s cat skiing in Dobërdol.
This remote mountain village, reachable only via rugged tracks in summer, turns into one of Europe’s most extraordinary freeride destinations in winter. A snowcat takes you to wild peaks, where endless powder fields and open bowls are waiting. Located at the meeting point of Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro, Dobërdol offers a perfect mix of terrain – from wide alpine slopes to playful forest lines.
